We met the members of the association during a day of discovery and discussion about their disability. It made us want to do more for them!
The mini-bus that transports them helps to break the isolation of people with reduced mobility, offering them the opportunity to take part in group activities, outdoors or on the delegation's premises. The current vehicle is at the end of its life, its maintenance is costly and uncertain, and it is impossible to replace it using the association's own funds. How can we finance this ambitious €45,000 project?
By appealing to local generosity and solidarity.
Relying on the generosity of the people of Orléans is one thing. But promoting the project so that as many donors as possible know about it, support it and subsidise it is quite another!
We worked with the members of the association to draw up a communication plan targeting companies and individuals. Once the tactics and media had been defined, we went into action... with the unprecedented pleasure of acting voluntarily and all together.
I don't know about you, but I do... SAM' Transporte
Giving the minibus a name personifies the vehicle and makes it the future benefactor of the association. Combining it with the verb "transports" gives it a double meaning: the verb expresses Sam's vocation, but also expresses the emotion we're going to stir up in donors with this project with a big heart. The logo designed by Cyrielle is playful, round and sympathetic, for 4 wheels and a motor. We gave it the APF colours, to facilitate the relationship between the project and the entity behind it.
Flyers and posters for shops and market distribution, rollups for events in the city and presentations of the project to networks of local leaders... the kit is ready for distribution at the end of summer 2019.
A funny clip that's causing a buzz
To generate interest, we chose to present the plight of APF members in need of a minibus in a humorous way. Script, casting, location, props, dialogue... everything was done in-house by our agency. The association's volunteers played the actors brilliantly! The video was widely circulated on social networks and reported in the local press, helping us to raise awareness of our need!
To spread the word about the project quickly and widely, and drive donors to the donation platform, what could be better than an active presence on social networks? Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn... we deployed a real digital and editorial strategy for SAM' Transporte. As well as presenting the project, we used social media to share the progress of the fund, create a series of posts on the lives of our members and the delegation, and thank our donors....
To reach Loiret companies and their employees, we chose to promote the project through professional networks (CJD, Com'45, Rotary Club, JCE, etc.). We told them about SAM' Transporte as they got out of bed over a business breakfast or after work. And it paid off!
So that all volunteers, members, donors, service providers, etc. can become Sam' Transporte ambassadors, we've created an e-mail signature, stickers and goodies for you to use without moderation.
Today, the platform has collected over 21,000 euros. In addition, the association has received over 23,000 euros in donations from foundations and associations. Seeing this project come to fruition is our greatest reward. And it brings a smile to the faces of our members, who will be driving around in a brand new minibus before the end of the year!
