Developing a company's image is a question of dosage. Here, it's not a question of revolution, but of increasing perceived quality. This is something SNRB hasn't done for a long time, which gives us the opportunity to take a great leap forward.
Designing under pressure
A logo sticks to your skin. Even if it's an old one, it's always hard to get rid of or change it. To reassure management and the market, we chose to work with the same colours as the old logo, working on a sign whose familiar shape would make it easier to adopt the new brand.
The logotype sign, created from a stylised "S", is made up of rectangular modules
which express the idea of assembly and construction. The point of the sign is reminiscent of the triangle in the old logo. The red arrow is also a symbol of elevation, progression and projection into the future.
The colours used are associated with ambition, action and rigour. The sign uses several shades, adding depth and modernity to the SNRB corporate image.
The typography, both modern and round, complements the logo harmoniously. The "pointed" interior of the letters gives character to the whole and echoes the sign.
It lays down the rules for the company's visual communication, imposing consistency by using shapes, colours and media in a logical and aesthetic way. Its aim is to provide everyone with common rules, and enable all internal and external users to execute documents with ease.
It's one of the principles of our charter: the sign plays with the media, in monochrome, in highlights or transparency, appearing here and there.
The high composition of the letterhead and the portrait orientation of the business card are the hallmarks of a modern layout.
A highly graphic sign like SNRB's can be used to create superb markings on volumes!
The cover of the pro page uses the icon version of the logo, better suited to this use, with the company name appearing in full letters just below. The brand promise, also designed by our agency, is associated with the employees by means of the photographic setting on a solid red background.
Covers for publishing and projection media
As always at Thinkad, we start from what already exists and what is needed to design a charter that is adapted to usage. At SNRB, the main media are documents in response to public consultations.
It's amazing what can be done with office software... which the agency's graphic designers were able to master. We created a large number of page templates in Word and Powerpoint, portraits and landscapes, and drafted and produced a number of materials, so that SNRB could very quickly exploit its new identity commercially.
Naturally, it's based on the graphic charter that has just come out of our graphics studio and on the persona work that we carried out with the managers at the start of the project. Developed in Joomla4, the site gives pride of place to images, with its multiple galleries that gave us a bit of trouble, and its aesthetic layouts, which are rather complex to design in responsive mode. Right from the start, a 'Wide Angle' section invites you to discover a technical subject. This cleverly replaces the usual 'News' section, which our customers, without an integrated communications department, would have found difficult to maintain on a regular basis. We deliver a site whose content is entirely integrated by us, including project references.
